Every tear is a chance to make something stronger.
After the slip, and after the quiet return, there comes the mending. Just like when a canvas tears, or a garden fence sags, you don't throw it away. You patch it with care, making it stronger than before.
In my life, I've mended many things. From the watercolor paintings that didn't turn out quite right, to the tools that broke during a long day of work. And every time I mend something, I learn something new.
Today, I invite you to join me at the mending table. Let's fix what's broken, together.
Step One: Lay the tear upon the table. Name it.
Step Two: Mix the gold. Not to hide the crack, but to sing through it.
Step Three: Press the seam until the breath returns.
